Is there a decent mod for the 9500 pro?

It is a great card stock and I want to push it further since it cost me very little.

I am currently running the <edit>4.1<edit> cat drivers on an a7n8x deluxor

Thanks again as the hard forum is grand

I don't want to be the "picky correct everybody guy", but I think you just made a lot of people go to ATi's website to look for the new drivers. The current release is 4.10, at least i think. Now you've go me confused, too!:D

Go here

http://www.3dchipset.com/bios/ati/warp11/index.php

It has a new bios as well as the Flash tool you need for the update.

I updated my ATI 9500 Pro with the BIOS and am overclocking the core to 315Mhz and the memory to 342Mhz.

Remember you are your own on this and it WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY.

I also saved the old BIOS if I need to; however, I have not had to go back in over 2 years.

Good Luck

Hoss, you can tweak your card in stages.

1. (as stated) flash the BIOS and o/c it

2. Upgrade the cooling and o/c more

3. Vold-mod the sucker and keep cranking those clocks up.

You might say that there's a "2a" step in there, which would be to move from air- to water-cooling (or even phase-change if you've got the cash).
