Awhile ago I said I would demonstrate ATi hardware applying AA in EQ 2. I was slow to get around to it because at that time I was installing this new motherboard and optimizing for it.
Since the Cat 6.3s Cat AI breaks the AA work around in EQ 2. You may apply AA in EQ 2 by first disabling Cat AI and setting the level you desire in the CCC. In the EQ 2 folder edit the two "configuration files" called recent and default with notepad. Add the line r_aa_blit 1 to each and save. Also it works fine without the CCC using ATi Tray Tools + the driver instead. Just remember to kill Cat AI.
I have used feedback to ATi about this issue. Also when disabling Cat AI Crossfire will apply what looks like a clear plastic checkerboard layover on your screen. You fix that by by simply moving the gamma slider around in the game CP.
Note: If you don't view the screens at full resolution they will look aliased. So when they first load click them again and they should go full size.
