I freaking hate that thing, is there any new drivers without it? I have a X1900XTX so i'm kind of limited :(

Yes, download the driver package that doesn't have CCC. Then go grab ATi Tray Tools from guru3d.com

I just installed the Omega driver suite. Here's to hoping AAA's there in BF2.

Wont work for me and X1900XTX, cant recognize bios.

Guru3D to get it, so I guess they dont have latest version.

EDIT: Grabbed the Omega drivers, still no luck. ATI Tray tools just will not work.

Any ideas?

EDIT EDIT: Found one, here, that appears to work. Says for X1800 but works on X1900 too. Linkage: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/89

Yeah tray tools just didint' work. There's no AAA setting in the control panel of
Omega's drivers either.

You can disable Overclocking during installation of ATI Tray Tools to get it to work, and it will do everything except overclock. With the Omega Drivers, don't checkmark ATI Tray Tools during installation because it won't give you this option....download the standalone version and install it from there. Looks like there's no way to get ATT to overclock if you're getting that error until it's fixed in a future version.

I'm also curious if there's a way to change Adaptive AA and High Quality AF through the Omega drivers.

edit: Actually, you can just edit atitray.ini and change a line to opt_disable_ovr=1 to disable overclocking.

ATI Tool - *NOT* ATI Tray Tools - can handle overclocking X1K-series cards with the latest few releases.

It also has tweaks for adaptive and temporal AA and high quality AF.
