I just got a new ati 3870 and reformatted with vista business. All was fine untill I tryed to install the ati drivers. SOon as I did and went to reboot, poof BSOD. Says I have a bad display driver, tryed installing different versions. Same problem

Anyone else have this, and is there a fix?

Typical ATi driver install, my guess is the ATi smartgart had a brainfart.

Best bet is to make sure your mobo chipset drivers are installed and then try installing the drivers again.

I completely forgot to install the chipset drivers (oops :p)
Ill try that in the morning and see if that works.
