I've been out of the ATI loop for a few months so I have a question...along with the latest ATI Catalyst drivers there is an optional download called Hardware Acceleration of H.264?...what will downloading the Cyberlink H.264 hardware accelerated decoder do for me?...is this only for Blu-ray and HD-DVD or do I get any benefit by downloading it?...will this make any HD content such as watching Quicktime HD movie trailers better?...in other words should I download it?

*I have an X1900XT card

It's just to hardware accelerate high def playback of movie files. Has nothing to do with HDCP or BlueRay DVD.

It's only to save CPU cycles, you don't need it to play anything per se.
