We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

all of a sudden out of nowhere i got a system tray icon that looks like an exploding monitor(w/ a "laser beam" in center) and when i right click i can exit, about, or help. Exit is self explanitory, about is self explanitory(its v.1.0.0) and help says "Cannot find ......\aticdtct.hlp......." the file is nowhere on my HDD, and nothing on the web. I have reinstalled EVERYTHING ati related and it is still there.

nothing on any search engines, nothing on ATI site. never heard or scene this thing before.

Probably spyware. Run Ad-Aware, and if it doesn't fix the problem, run "msconfig", click on the startup tab, and uncheck the file if you find it. You can also find out the path that way, and delete the file.

it has always been in MSconfig in the startup, but it always shuts down after windows is through loading. i'll shut it off anyways.
