Hey guys, for the last couple of years I've been happily using a nice ATI 9800 Pro.128, but thanks for a friend of mine, I've got a BFG 6800GT coming for my watercooled rig. However, I'm not sure about Nvidia's driver choices today, as the last NV card I used was the (awesome for its time) Gainward GeForce 4 TI4600 Golden Sample.

With my 9800pro, I used the Omega Catalyst drivers, as they seemed to work better for me (with radclocker included). Which drivers should an enthusiest choose for the 6800GT? I've heard rumors that the official detonator packs include clock rate change ability and the other goodies that could only be found in the ATI Omegas. Which drivers get better performance and stability, especially during overclocking? Finally, since I've got ATI drivers on my rig now, what's the best way to totally get rid of them, aside from a reformat?

Just go for the 66.93s off the Nvidia website. Use coolbits to unlock the OCing tab. Use DriverCleaner3 in safe mode to completely get rid of ATI drivers.
