when i update CCC drivers do i have to do the normal routine of driver cleaner? I heard somewhere that you can just install over them
 
You CAN install over them... but it's not much harder to run driver cleaner and all that just to be safe...
 
If you dont run driver cleaner before installing the new drivers then there can be settings and files left over from the previous driver version which might impact performance or cause other problems. Its best to just install them fresh.
 
yea, its not a hassle or anything, i just remember when CCC came out they were talking about being able to update easier
