I must've had some old drivers installed or something, but everything was working fine. I just happened to go the the ATI driver site today and saw there was a new version of catalyst (7.2?). I download it, install it, restart computer, and everything was messed up 800x600 resolution, 4 bit color, everything. So I browse to the ATI website, redownload the display driver (not catalyst) and then I was able to change the resolution to something readable (in this case 1280x1024, 32 bit color). However, every thing I do, whether it is browse the internet, navigate a folder in windows, etc it is all so choppy. I was thinking it had something to do with refresh rates, so I changed them all around (tried 60 hz, 70 hz, and 75 hz) and nothing worked.
Any advice? I don't know which driver version I had before, but it did seem like catalyst had more features (did they take features away?).
