ATI Avivo support (all created equal?)

Do all the ATI X1x00 cards support Avivo the same way, or is it like nVidia's PureVideo where the higher end cards can do more advanced video processing and exclusively support the higher end video processing features?

The ATI Avivo page isn't clear. nVidia has a nice PureVideo page showing what PureVideo features are supported by each card.

Does ATI's lack of such a chart means they're all equal, or just that they're hiding the capabilities of each card?
 
the featureset is the same, except for hardware decoding of h.267 (if not all hd content in general). i think the 1300 series only do 480p in hardware, the 1600 series do up to 720p in hardware and then the 1800/1900 series do it all iirc
 
Thanks for the responses guys. I'm not sure why ATI hasn't released more information on Avivo. nVidia is shouting their capabilities from the rooftops.
