ATI and their RMA process

I submitted a warranty replacement thing to ATI so I can RMA my new card that gets the blue checkerboard affect. its been almost a week with no response. Anyone else have any tips or experience with ATI with a RMA? good/bad?

Also, what happens if its past the 30 day warranty thingy. i sure as hell don't expect to buy a new card just cause im 1 day over the warranty thing.
 
you shouldnt have a problem, im rma'ing my card so i can get the latest version of 9700pro(compatability). I just payed 500 bucks on credit card so they would send me one asap, and once mine gets there, they credit the 500 back
