Someone answer these questions for me:
1. Where the hell is the x700xt?, websites were doing benchmarks on it two months ago!
2. Why do the big websites that always have great prices (zipzoom, newegg, tiger, nerds) charging $490 - $590 for an x800xt?
3. Why are there no x800xt's ever in stock at these resellers, even though the cards are 7 months old?
4. Why should we care about the x850 series cards when they are only pci-e, sound like freight trains, cost a fortune and show little performance increase over the current high end cards?
5. The radeon 9800 pro a year ago today was going for $285 and now it is going for $250? WTF? On the bright side, my radeon 9800 pro crashed last week, rma'd to newegg and they gave me $275 bucks for it! Originally they said the value was only $225 but I said that I would buy an x800xt when it came in stock if they gave me a refund of the original $292 price. However, none were in stock and they said they can't hold RMA's so we settled on $275. Now I need a new card but these prices are rediculous.
Supply and demand bla bla bla
