Hi, I am running out of answers so I decided to ask for help.

I am currently building a system with

Aopen AK77-600n Mobo
Mobile AMD 2600+ at 166 x 12 @ 1.6v
1 Kingston 512 meg ram stick
AGP 8x 128 meg ddr Sapphire 9800se video card
NEC dvd-r/cd-r burner
Creative Labs Audigy 2 Sound Card
Samsung IDE 80 gig harddrive
300 watt psu

Yesterday got the system up and running, and booted up fine. Tested it a few times just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Ran Prime 95 all night, worked fine. Turned off the system.

Tried booting it back up a few hours later, no posting. Swapped in a old PCI Voodoo 3 3dfx card and system booted up fine. Swapped back for the 9800se and no post again. Stuck in both cards, booted off of the PCI voodoo and the card AGP 9800se was recognized in Windows as present.

Yet, I am out of ideas on if telling the status of the 9800se. any help?
I am about to test the 9800se in a another machine, as well as trying a geforce2 mx agp card w/tvout in the machine that is having the problem. Will post the results when done.

In the mean time, any ideas? I'm stumped on why it worked one day, and not the next.

Sometimes cards go bad. It can happen in a split second. It could also be the AGP socket on your motherboard. No way to know without testing the card in another computer, or testing another card in your motherboard socket.
