Everytime I start up a game my graphics go apeshit and it does VPU recover.
Somtimes it works, sometimes it does. I have it in an FIC Icecube barebones (with the side panel off that is next to the video card until I can cut a whole for fresh air). I dont think its overheating, whats going on?

p4 2.8c
FIC Icecube Barebones vl67 (I think)
512mb pc3200
160g Seagate
16x DVD

Any ideas?

are you overclocking, is the card modded at all. and what drivers are you using?

Newest drivers without the new crappy ATI Control Center thing, not modded or OCd at all. Worked fine until I put it in this new box.

what chipset is on the motherboard, do you have the drivers loaded for it?

Im going to reinstall everything again and see if that fixes it.

I know absolutly nothing about Intel chipsets or motherboard, Im a huge AMD person and this is my first Intel box ever.

I think its intel 865g.

Yes the drivers are loaded.

have you tried playing with VPU recover disabled? I know that was causing issues for a lot of people a while back.
