i don't know if it belongs here. but the other week my 9800 pro just went out. and its only 4 months old. i tested it in my friend's comp. took it out. put it back in mine. and it won't boot into windows. and theres nothing on the monitor. so i just rma'ed it and would u know how long its gonna take? and its built by ATI and the place is in NY. thanks.

Well, in your sig it says your card is watercooled. And by doing that you most likely voided your warranty with your card. (any modification of the card voids the warranty, ex. taking off the hsf or applying ram sinks.)

They might just send it back and tell you too bad. But hey, you might get lucky and get a new card.

That's still a bit shady IMO. Technically you voided the warranty when you water cooled the card.

So now I'm just being a jerk, but as 133 indicated above, you still voided your warranty with a custom heatsink.

BAck to where this thread was meant to be. HOW long is it gonna take for me to get my vid card back?

how ever long it takes to figure out what went wrong with the card and if you voided your warranty or not... could take 2-8 weeks or more
