ATi 9700np, Lines when starting up

I have a MSI km4m motheboard and i just got a 9700np videocard. I put the card into my system and started it up. Once it started the screen was filled with white stripes in a pattern. Is there any ways to fix this

Hmm screenshot I took, 800x600 i have no idea whats going on :eek:
 
you return the card to the manufacturer i.e ATi if its was an ATI boxed card
