yesterday i overclocked my ATI radeon 9200 128mb from stock(250/200) to 260/220, i didn't get any artifacts when i played nfs:u for about 3hrs, but today when i played nfs:u for about an hour and artifacts startede coming up, i tried lower the clock speeds back to stock but that didn't make the artfacts go away, i even tried to lower the clock even lower than stock but that didnt work either....btw i was using powerstrip
IS IT DIEING?!?

is there anyway to save it? maybe do some cpr? lol....ok i think its time for a new one, i have 70 bucks for a new card, what should i buy?

Well...you wont get anything good for $70..i suggest you save up $10 more and start looking at Radeon 9600SE which lists about $80 on pricewatch. But this all changes daily, so be on the lookout at www.pricewatch.com

the bad thing is, i can't save, i had to beg my parents for 70 bucks since im broke...now what are some videocards i can get for 70 or under?

Did you restart your comp? I oced my 7500 to 350 from 290  got major, MAJOR artifacts... set it back to defaults... still, didnt work. Restarted, let it cool for about 10 mins and everything was fine. Might wanna try that before spending 70 bucks.

ive tried everything to save my 9200, except getting ramsinks, getting new thermal compound, and reinstalling all the drivers and uninstalling pwerstrip

ok, i uninstalled powerstrip, then i saw a lot less artifacts, and when i noticed my agp was at 4x i set it to 8x, then i restarted my system and now it works fine:D , but i got one more question, i want to change the thermal compount because i heard that stock compounds really suck, so i took the retension pins off and tried to pull the heat sink off the gpu, but i can't seem to get the heat sink off the gpu and im afraid to pull hard, what should i do?
