ATI 4.7's Out

These are the leaked drivers from asus. I read a thread about these drivers on rage3D, people are saying that it is the final version, but for some reason asus decided to take out the 3d tab . Ati should be releasing these drivers soon on their site.

Hey DP... We must be the only 2 schmucks that still fire this game up once and a while... :D Turning on vsync fixed the stuttering for me... Give that a shot.
 
Make that 3 shmucks. Nothing like some old school Q3A fraggin'. Wait Q3A old school, man I'm getting old.

yeh, but who has lan parties on their playstations? man, that's a weird thought. I can't even find a good game for that dead system. damn I wish raven would make a heretic 3 instead of quake 4. oh well, at least I didn't buy quake 3 arena on ps2.....thank god for blockbuster.

Does anybody know if these 4.7's will work on a notebook? I know ATi says to use drivers from the notebook manufacturer, but I seriously doubt ibuypower makes their own drivers. I'm running an M11, aka mobility 9700

you know, i have been thinking the same thing about heretic/hexen... those games were pretty damn cool... one based on the doom3 engine would be mind blowing..

Believe me you are not alone. I think there is many that didn´t got Quake 3 because of it´s multiplayer bias.

However i got UT quite late and that surely was a blast. UT 2003 sucked though. And yes I only play these games single player ;)

I'm only 21 and a feel I should be on the front portch on a rocking chair watching the grass grow. Quake 3 is a classic, like Doom2 and load runner (kings quest and space quest where favs too) . Yes I played load runner on my 386 when i was 6. I didn't have a Nintendo.... I had computers :cool:
 
I only gained 9 points in 3dmark03 w/these 4.7s

after i OC my proc and vid card i'll run it again.
 
Lol and you think your old ? im 34 I was the generation that started out with atari 400/800s and commy 64's with 64k disk drives and 300bps modems and thought it was badass. :)

My first PC was a com 64 as well... but i was 2 and on my dad's lap :D

I hear you Shane - my first 'comp' was a Spectrum 48k (I'm 31). That thing was a controtionists dream, what with having to depress multiple keys to get that buried function (programming).
