Athena Power

Well they have an entire line of PSU's that are originally Topower units. So fairly good. Though that doesn't mean that Athena is not over charging (IMO) for them at certain price points.

I had one of the 850W Athena for my H8QC8. I thought it's a good choice because you can switch it to single-12V rail.

The whole thing was so light and appeared so cheap that I didn't trust it to be a real 850 W unit. It was also pretty loud, louder than I liked and certainly not a "quiet PSU" as Athena says it is. I returned it for refund without ever connecting it to my expensive hardware.

I also had very heavy instability overclocking my SLI-DR, corrupting two OS installs. While there is no guarantee that the PSU caused it, and that there was some funky BH-5 involved that I didn't use before, I do the same kind of overclocking all the time and didn't have that kind of supercrash anytime before or after using the Athena.
