It's time to upgrade to a new laptop. I've chosen the ASUS ZenBook Touch U500VZ.

The problem is no one sells the darn thing. It was supposedly released last fall. I found the Microsoft store is selling something that seems to match it specs-wise, but the model is different:

Outlets like TigerDirect only sell the older ZenBooks with i7-3612QM processor, whereas the ZenBook Touch U500VZ uses a core i7-3632QM processor.

ASUS seems to be ignoring questions about this product. Some people are referring to it as vaporware. Does anyone have the inside scoop on this one?
