Just a heads up really, in case someone Google's this
I have an Asus X202e Vivobook, its great, but overheats and CPU throttles like a motherfucker. There is no way to control the fans, speedfan and every other fan control software I used couldn't control the fan speed, so the laptop would overheat often.
Updating to the BIOS from version 206 to 210 seems to make the fans much more aggressive, they are louder and spin up much more, but the CPU now stays under 70C rather than in the mid 90C range.
BIOS 210

No more CPU throttling.
