Asus vs. BFG?

[GoHack]

I noticed that the Asus card has 256 mb of onboard memory vs. 128 on the BFG.

Is there any advantage to the extra memory?

[Lord of Shadows]

I would be surprised if it made a difference.

[mentok1982]

Well having more memory is better of course.
It is certainly not going to be worse to have more memory.

[Ockie]

Yes.

Otherwise in real world... probably not much at all.

Yes.

LOL!

Seriously though, considering the market for e-penis products I think Asus might just have a winner on their hands.

For some reason, I always figured CPUs were for e-peen lengthening and GPUs/PPUs widened it.

But in seriousness it probably won't make a measurable difference for some time. If they were priced the same, of course the 256 is the better deal, but aside from that...
