So I just bought a new Asus VGA in the last few days. Surprise, there is a sticker on one of the screw on the back of the card. My last Asus VGA was an HD 6950 and they did not put a warranty void sticker on the screw back then. I know MSI did the same thing nowadays but they assured you (a mod from MSI forum) that they would still honor the warranty even if the sticker is broken unless there is physical damage to the card due to HSF removal. Now, with Asus's terribad track record of it's RMA department, what do you guys think of this? What if 2 years down the road you need to reapply the TIM, does removing the HSF void your warranty?
