Asus VG27HE help!

Hey everyone,
I bought a 27inch 144hz Asus VG27HE. Out of the box, the display wasn't what I thought it would be, compared to my 60hz - it was better but not "great".

I need help with the settings on this monitor
My issues is the monitor profile modes are too bright or too dark from game to game.
If its decent in one game, its horrible in another.
Once I find a sweet spot for, lets say BF4 - browsing through windows explorer or firefox, pretty much anything that has a white background, bleeds out the other colors (example, the vanilla color of the explorer folders are too bright)
I've tried using lightboost hack, but it was way too dark for my games. I tried using the ICC profile for my monitor but once again, its decent looking in one game but horrible for the rest.

Has anyone found a sweet spot in their settings for this monitor ? I am currently not home so I can't tell you what the settings I have set at the moment.
overall I am not happy with this buy but I know its a matter of user issue.

I am having one of those "double edge sword" situations - its bright enough for one game but too dark for another.
the sunglares in games, smoke and etc... blinds my viewing in the game.

I currently have
GeForce 780 TI
AMD 9370 OC @ 5gigz
16gigz of ram OC to 2300mhz

I have two monitors
Asus VG27he (DVI)
Samsung, I forgot, 28inch @ 60hz plugged in with HDMI

When I stretch the firefox window across the monitors, the browser window are two different colors.. The Samsung monitor has the correct calibrated settings and the Asus does not.

the asus has this "white tint" on it, almost like the digital vibrance is low.

Has anyone found a sweet spot and if so, what settings are you running on both monitor and Nvidia control panel

There's really no way around this. Different panels are different. This is why it's almost always advisable to get identical monitors for multi-monitor setups. I'd recommend you perform the Windows color calibration as best you can on the monitor you're not happy with (or both). Once you have that set, it should just be a matter of setting the brightness and/or gamma on a per-game basis. That's really all you can do. If you're looking at a single monitor or identical multi-monitors, it's easy for your eye to accept the panel as-is. Putting different panels side-by-side will make any differences unbearably obvious, leading to much suffering and misery.

Keep in mind that the main feature of the VG27HE is the 144hz refresh rate. I had a friend test my perception of the refresh rate by switching between 144hz and 60hz randomly. It didn't end up being very interesting; it was about as easy as distinguishing between red and green for me. (No insult to our colorblind friends intended).

The VG27HE uses a TN panel; these panels are not usually the first choice for folks who value color accuracy and other such things above all else. That said, I have no complaints about mine. The colors, brightness, and contrast look just fine to me. I along, with many other [H]'ers here would pick refresh rate over bleeding-edge color fidelity any day of the week.

I understand everyone's preference is difference, i just want to know where to start after I have calibrated

i see post where certain monitors do best in xx settings

All standard options in OSD. (Actually, contrast at 64 just for 3D mode, default of 72 causes a bit too much ghosting).
