Has anyone even seen one of these?

I can not find pricing or availability for this new monitor.

Any information would be of great help. Ready to get my new monitor.

Just have to decide between XL2720T or the VG278HR.

Hopefully it doesn't have the strong fine-pixel checkboard artifact problem that the VG278HE has had. (LCD inversion artifact). If so, I steer your choice towards XL2720T and VG278H. But let's wait for reviews first!

If you can't wait for actual reviews of the HR monitor, just grab a VG248QE. It's got a 4.5 star rating on Amazon averaged from more than 25 customers, so it's almost a no-brainer for a fast responding gaming monitor in general (not just LightBoost).

According to Asus...the VG278HR will NOT be available here in the US anytime in the near future.

BTW, this is the checkerboard artifact problem (poor LCD inversion):

Found in 3D Vision crosstalk (for 3D glasses), but as artifacts within the faint sharp trailing ghost (for 2D motion blur elimination)

This is commonly found on certain, especially older, LightBoost monitors (BENQ XL2420T, ASUS VG278HE), while newer monitors like BENQ XL2411T and VG248QE don't have this artifact (or is much fainter).

Wouldn't that be ...found on newer but not older?
