Asus VE278Q custom resolution

Hey guys, last night i was messing around in NCP and decided to try and make a 2560x1440 custom res profile since my monitor is a native 1080p 27 inch monitor i figured it should work pretty well and it did. my only question is, can running this res damage my monitor since it only supports 1080p native? thanks in advance for any info

I would check with the mfg..or check the site to see if this rez will damage the monitor..cheers

Usually, if it doesn't support that res it won't display anything. Wait 15 seconds and it will revert back to it's previous res.
