I currently have the HP W2207H and I am looking to go up to a 24" 1080p monitor. The one I had my eyes set on was the Asus VE248H. Anyway there are literally hundreds of reviews raving about how great this monitor is. There on the other hand there is a handful of people that complain of ghosting. Is ghosting one of those things that all of those people just missed or is this just a rare fault of this particular monitor. It really fits the bill on what I want as far as looks, size, and price go. It is on sale at Newegg right now for $179.99, which is a steal if the ghosting is not a big issue. Thoughts?
Edit: I also looked at the ASUS VS248H-P http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236153 I didn't notice any complaints of ghosting, but then again there are only 6 reviews.
Edit2: Ok the ghosting seems to be a widespread issue with this monitor, so I am scratching that one. Any other suggestions? I don't really like the bezel and stand on the Dell monitors. When it comes to bezels for me smaller is better and I actually like glossy lol. The VE Asus monitor is exactly the look I am going for, but unfortunately that one is a dud.
