Asus SenseAmp + custom amp... ?

Hey all, my new Z97 motherboard arrived, the Asus Maximus VII Ranger.

I'm planning on just using the onboard audio I think, but I have a question: I currently use K702 headphones with a custom built amp built by someone recommended through HardForum, I think it's a Pimeta 2.

However, it seems that the onboard audio on the Maximus VII has a built-in amp with a feature called 'SenseAmp' which "automatically detects your headset's impedance and adjusts the built-in amp accordingly."

Will this cause any weirdness for my audio setup? And is the Asus ROG motherboard audio generally up to scratch for headphones like the K702s?

1) That setup should work fine. Senseamp will reduce output voltage when it senses the big current draw from a low-impedance load. Your amp acts as a buffer, so you should see max Vout.

2) I'm not qualified to answer.
