I have everything spinning up & lighting up except for the CPU voltage LEDs & I have the 8pin plugs plugged in. Is there anything else that needs to be done to get power to the cpu?
I have tried with 2 separate quad core chips so I know that is not the issue.


Any ideas or do I need to RMA it back?
 
Do you have your 4-pin ATX power connector plugged into the board, as well as the larger EATX connector?
 
Yes, I do. That is what I was referring to when I said I had the 8 pin "plugs" plugged in. There are 2 4pin that are each labeled CPU1 & CPU2.
 
Reset bios, make sure video card is seated and plugged into power. Make RAM is compatible/firmly seated.
 
Can't reset bios as machine does not post. It's still using the default anyways.
video is in all the way & does not use a power cable.
RAM is fine.
Just no power going to cpu.
