Asus Rampage III Extreme - SSD not detected to boot

Hello,

I'm having problems with the hot swap feature with my SSD.

SSD is an OCZ 60GB.

The hot swap does not detect my OCZ to boot into OS.

But when I use another HD to boot into OS, it shows that my SSD is installed.

Shown here,

C drive (OS)
D drive (storage)
E drive (storage)
F drive - SSD (OS)

I can boot into OS with the SSD if I don't use the back plate. But with the back plate, it won't boot into OS. (Sorry if I'm repeating myself)







All HDs are detected via back plate (hot swap)

*Would also like to add that SSD is updated to most current firmware 1.33

UPDATE: SSD is NOT being detected (directly connected to mobo) to boot. But it's detected in Disk Management when shown in another OS.

I see you are on bios rev 1102 the latest is 1208

I had a similar problem and asus advised me to get
Latest bios as i was losing my ssd on the marvel side
