Just got a new monitor Asus PB328Q, replaced my old Dell 2209WA.

I was hoping to use the aspect control feature with 1080p, but it's grayed out. The only time it's not grayed out is when I choose very low resolutions.

Or maybe I don't understand the feature correctly. It's my understanding that with the aspect control feature set to 1:1, anything below the native res of 2560x1440 will give black borders. I'd like this for when my 7950 CF can't handle 1440p.

I've tried toggling GPU scaling on the GPU, didn't help.

I'm using a display port cable.

I've never owned an Asus monitor before. Anyone have experience with the aspect control feature?

Sorry that I can't help you with your question. But since you have the monitor, I just wonder if you could tell me, what are the separate weights of the monitor and the stand? I'm planning to buy this same monitor, but I want to use a monitor arm for it. Problem is, it lands somewhere around the maximum weight for Freedom Arm and minimum for Freedom Arm HD, but I'd need to know which one exactly.

I tried asking Asus about this, but they just threw me a guess.
