Was playing some games this afternoon and had my rig shut down. Thought it might have been the power supply (Corsair ax750), headed into work and grabbed my older hx520 swapped a few cables and well nothing. Fans & HDs spin up, but the red CPU LED stays lit. Reseated memory, unplugged everything and even tried my old 5850 (have a gtx680 now). Also pulled the bios battery. Still nothing.
Don't imagine it will be difficult to get it replaced via RMA, but with the new z77 boards hitting shelves, should I bother buying one? I guess the same thing goes for z68 boards.
And is the serial number of Asus boards on the board itself. With this being a 4 day weekend, and my motherboard box being at work, I'd like to get the ball rolling ASAP.
