I recently bought two new Intel 520 240GBs and I'm trying to run them in RAID 0 as a Steam drive. Right now I have them plugged into the Gray 6.0Gb/s ports and when I set the BIOS settings to 'RAID'. All I get is a blinking screen. I'm on the latest BIOS. Any help guys?

BIOS: 3602
ME Version: 8.1.0.1248

Update:
So I got into the RAID set-up screen by pressing Ctrl+I. However after setting up the RAID I set my boot drive to my Intel 510 250GB, Windows crashes and I get a BSOD immediately after the Windows boot screen. Any help?

You should be installing Windows after you set RAID.

Not sure this will help as I don't know in what part of the process you are, but the basic steps are:

Step 0. Allow RAID in BIOS (usually as a substitute to AHCI mode)
Step 1. Set up RAID
Step 2. Pop in Windows disc
Step 3. Install Windows, select RAID partition
Step 4. Don't forget to install the Intel RST drivers

I'm not trying to install Windows on my RAID though. I have a Intel 510 250GB as a boot drive, and two Intel 520 240GBs.

What's happening is he probably installed Windows on the SSD under IDE mode. Now that he's switched to RAID, Windows wants an AHCI/RAID driver to boot.

OP, in EFI change the RAID setting back to IDE and boot into Windows 7.

Make this change:

1. Startup "Regedit
2. Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlset / Services
3. Open msahci
4. In the right field left click on "start" and go to Modify
5. In the value Data field enter "0" and click "ok"
6. exit "Regedit"

After you make this change, reboot and enter back into the EFI and enable RAID, boot to CTRL+I to setup raid, then reboot to configure boot order and boot back into Windows. Then I suggest you download the latest Intel RAID driver.
