Asus P67 boards available!

You should die in a fire for living near a microcenter. Closest one to me is a 7 hour drive. Each way.

You want me to grab one for you? If you pay for gas and shipping, I can help you on that, but then the final price (after everything) would be skyhigh. So, it's probably not worth it for cost-effective reason.

I just checked out microcenter, had never taken a look before today. Are they normally cheaper than newegg? Looks like the 2600k is about $50 cheaper, haven't compared the rest of my parts yet.

Board is about the same price as Newegg's, but CPUs are always cheaper at MC. If you don't mind the tax, buying CPUs at MC locally (and have it instantly instead of waiting a few days) is always a plus.

Where's that link that compares all the Asus P67 boards side by side again? I want to check it out...I know it's here on the forum somewhere.

If it wasn't a 7 hour round-trip to Chicago or 6 hour round-trip to Columbus...but I don't think I'm *that* desperate yet...though my 30-day Newegg return period will expire next Wednesday for all the other components...

Are these boards the B3 revision? Also is there a difference between the P8P67 LGA 1155 P67 Intel ATX Motherboard and the Pro version? Thanks.

Yeah been looking a few days got a pile of parts here waiting for a mobo to finish up a build.

Corsair Obsidian 650D
Seasonic 560KM
2600k
XFX 6870 Black Edition
Ripjaws X 8gb
LG BluRay burner
SB Titanium HD

Im getting twitchy to get it done. Anyone close to a mc with mobos in stock can pay you to pick up and ship?

I couldn't find anywhere indicating that these are the B3 revision.

LE means light edition, but the only difference I could find between this and the pro is that the PCIE 2.0 slots go 16x 4x for dual card setups instead of 8x 8x.

Does anyone else know anything about the light edition?

I would buy this thing if I knew what the hell it was haha.

Alright cool, thanks for the info.

Bah, the MC near me only had the Sabertooth boards in stock, and now the LE boards. Still waiting on the Pro...

Important to note this does not support SLI. Crossfire only. Same with the Gigabyte board you will need the UD4 version at least.
Because of that limiting factor I would pass on both of these.

I am looking at many different stores pro version and what is with the price increase? Some stores are adding like 30 dollars extra

Besides the ones above, I saw at least 4 Sabertooth boards (more might be scattered around) as well, but they weren't listed on the website.

Kudos to JCNiest5. Ran out grabbed me a board and shipped overnight. Going to get this system together tomorrow thanks to him...

Thanks Again
Joseph

Glad to do it...Hope it works out good.

It's not an Asus, and it isn't Microcenter, but ChiefValue has the MSI P67A-GD65 in stock, 47 of them at the moment, $179.99 shipped via UPS guaranteed 3 day service.

Here's the [H] review of the MSI: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2011/01/03/msi_p67agd65_lga1155_chipset_motherboard_review/6

More than i personally wanted to spend, but i am tempted...i'll have to think about it...hmmm

thnx for the heads up. i got one this afternoon and have a tracking number already. (free shipping option)

I live about an hour away from the Kansas City MC but my work is only about 15 minutes away.

I looked up what they had online and it only listed Biostar motherboards...but when I went in I saw a Gigabyte UD3 on the shelf so I asked someone there what else they had. I ended up walking out with an ASUS P8P67 Pro. They also had about 10 of the LE and Deluxe models in stock and some more Pro mATX boards.

If you live near a MC but don't see anything in stock on their website, it might be worth it to give em a call.

I wish the Deluxe is stocked at my local MC. I would have grabbed it over the Sabertooth P67.
