Hi Guys,

Started a new build over the weekend;

Asus P5Q-E
Intel Q6600

Some other goodies.

Hook everything up, flick the switch on the back of the power supply, and the two LED switches on the board just blink on and off.

I did get it to work once.. but it threw a bunch of errors abotu express gate.. so i thought, fuck it, ill RMA the board.

Exchanged it for a second one.. BNIB.. brought it home, hooked it up. Same issue?

My only guess would be Power supply? Its an Antec 500W Trio i believe. And it was working perfectly in my old P4 3.2 System.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

PS: have tried removing ram and one video card.

Thanks in advance.

It almost sounds as if it's not getting enough power. Are you using an 8-pin or a 4-pin 12v connector for the mobo. Or is it actually plugged in? Whenever I see a motherboard that just sits there and nothing happens, it's usually the 12v 8pin/4pin that's not connected.

If it is connected, you may have a bad power supply.. This is just my opinion.
