I've had the P5N-D board since 2008, and the Marvell (blue) SATA ports seem to have been dead for the vast majority of that time. I seem to recall reading that the Marvell controllers were faulty, and died on all these boards. However, I can't find anything regarding this issue online now.
I have also had problems finding the Marvell drivers for these SATA ports. The Asus site does not list appropriate drivers for this controller, unlike other boards.
I'm totally perplexed at this point. I'm not sure whether the ports are dead, or just lack a driver, or what the heck is going on. Any help is greatly appreciated.
