Asus or XFX 6870?

I know they're typically a little more expensive, but in the past I've always purchased Asus motherboards and video cards. I'm currently looking at a Radeon 6870; the Asus 1GB and XFX 2GB are currently the same price at NewEgg. I would eventually like to run a 2nd card w/ CrossFire, so I think the 2GB is the way to go.

I just need someone to convince me before I purchase as I've never owned any XFX products.
 
I currently have two xfx 6870s for crossfire and i've never had a problem.
 
If you go XFX, you'll have their double-lifetime warranty if you remember to register the cards. Useful when you sell your stuff, and their RMA department keeps you in the loop when something goes wrong with the card (tested that myself earlier this year).
 
The Asus with the nice cooler is a good card. I ran one for a few weeks until I sold it for a buddy. I don't care for XFX.. the coolers I have gotten on their cards lately have been loud and felt cheap. Also I have heard lately their customer service has gone down hill but I cannot speak from experience. When I had XFX they were always great to deal with but this is when they were still making Nvidia cards. Asus of course sucks to deal with when it comes to RMA. XFX will at least let you modify the cooler without voiding the warranty.
