Although like the Blitz the NB will get pretty toasty, the waterblock isn't that effective as air cooling, slap a 40/60mm fan above and it should be fine

isnt it more or less the same thing as one of their other boards without the "extreme" bits stuck on.

No need to WC but its good practice to place a fan over it.

The extreme in this case refers to the board using ddr3.
