hey,
my asus m6ne (laptop) overheats when i play wow. it only seems to do this during wow (though i dont play other 3d games on it)

My asus probe applications says the temperature is 92C. MobileMeter agrees. Speed fan gives 4 readings:

Local which is usually around 50C
Remote 1: varies with no apparent correlation to the others
HD0: usually around 40c
and
Temp1: this one agrees with Asus probe and MobileMeter

I tried updating my graphics driver. setting my video settings lower. and ive started using a ChillMat by targus. The chill mat made it cooler, but it still heats up to 92c over time. what can I do?
I dont know if my directx is working right
i went to the windows site and installed the latest version.
but when i run dxdiag and go to the Directx Files tab, i get an error message at the bottom which reads:

The file system.dll is missing!
You should reinstall DirectX to get the latest version.

Even after I've reinstalled it.

I havent updated the system bios since i bought the machine and installed windows on it myself. i don't know how, though i attained a 'bios' update from driverguide.com (a file that ends in .rom)

can anyone pass any advice? someone suggested disassembling the laptop and blowing the inside out with canned air. I'll look into guides for disassembling my machine if you think that would work. thanks for the help!!!!
