I don't know much about the 9xxx series graphic cards from Nvidia. How do they perform compared to a mobile 8800GTS for example?

The price is pretty attractive considering what you are getting. It sucks that it doesn't have an HDMI port though. The max resolution is also low.
 
The 9500M GS is pretty much the same as the 8600M GT.

Also, it does have a DVI port, so connecting to a monitor via HDMI just requires a $5 adapter.
 
About a thousand bucks? Not that bad of a deal. 3 gigs ram, 250 gig hd, C2D. Decent, should be able to play most current games with decent settings, not so much the next gen games, however.
