I bought an Asus M2N-E motherboard with an AM2 Socket. Now I went ahead and bought some Crucial Ballistix RAM that operates at 2.2V. The one problem I see is that my Asus board only has the option in RAM to raise the voltage to 1.95V.

Is this something that could be fixed with a BIOS upgrade or will this board have a max RAM voltage of 1.95V forever?

Well even though the RAM is rated at 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2V it seems to be Memtest stable at 4-4-4-12-2T @ 1.95V. Guess I'll let it run at 1T overnight tonight and see, maybe I'll be lucky. Anyone know about increasing RAM voltages though a BOIS upgrade? Ever happened to anyone else through a BIOS update?
