I have a ASUS M2N-E SLi motherboard and had upgraded my bios version to 5001 I was told that now I can support a quad core, can anyone veryify what is the best quad core for me as I am a gamer

955x4 is a steal right now..saw it fot 119.00 on newegg the other day....

Not sure how you got a BIOS version of 5001, Asus download only shows up to version 1301 as the latest.

Don't buy new, you can get 955 real cheap used. $119 is too much to spend on outdated platform.

not if you only have enough to upgrade what you have....like munkle said buy a used one off forums when BD comes out...x6 will be alot cheaper buying one used....
