Hello All.

I am seriously considering an ASUS G1S laptop. I am a bit concerned with slight screen leakage and heat being reported. Can someone ease my concerns about the ASUS's quality or recommend something similar.?
 
Screen Leakage? I haven't noticed any problems with my Asus G1S-A1. It's awesome! My only complaint is that Vista sucks. I got a blue screen of death 2 minutes after I first turned it on. Chucked it for XP and no problems since.
 
i have an asus g1s, specs in sig. Vista 64 is INCREDIBLE. No blue screens, no instability. Maybe video card isn't explosive. I haven't had any problems with it. Runs Far Cry on all high settings smoothly. Multitasking is smooth, battery life is close to three hours with brightness down. The laptop hot keys are very useful. Over all I'm very happy and feel like there's still room to grow/improve within the life of this laptop. I can upgrade processor easily when new technology comes out/i have money, and I can run DX10. I'm satisfied.
