I would be happy if i can get this ram to run at 1900...Only problem is the FSB will not post over 450... There is a setting in the bios for auto overclock XPS i believe its called that will run the ram at 2000 but it will not post... if i set it to 1800 it will post but the cpu will only be 3.16, 4050 is not always stable i found that the multi on 8.5 x 450 give me around 3.8 and 1801 ddr...Do you guys think i hit limits? Do you think 450 is the highest FSB i can get this to go? Is there a setting im overlooking? I like 475-485 x 8 thats where id like to be.. Its really pissing me off.. any help would be great.

Maybe some settings or voltages ? I believe it to be a mobo problem

bump up vcore? bump up vdimm? vtt? (is there a vtt with c2d?) tweak gtl refs? first try taking out 2 of your ram stix. iirc, this used to be a block to high fsb overclocking with c2d chipsets. i dont think you will hurt perf much by going from 8gb to 4gb.

Lower your RAM to its lowest possible speed and then try. Raise your northbridge voltage and play around with your VTT/FSB Termination voltage as well. And take out two of your RAM sticks like vanilla_guerilla suggested.
