asus formula maximus owners

I have tried to disable all checks and alarms for the cpu fan because i have it on a manualy control and its not actually plugged into the cpu fan pins on the mobo. and it all seems fine now.. no more alerts when bios loads about cpu fan.. but now when i bring my os back from sleep the stupid alart goes off and i have to shut the system down and reboot to get it to stop.

im wondering if there is a setting somewhere else i need to also disable..
