Asus EAH5870 Weirdness.

Hello All,

Question for anyone out there... I bought two EAH5870/2DIS/GD5/A and they are both slightly different, ones plastic heatsink shrouding is a darker red than the other, one came with a Crossfire bridge that has a half and half split with white on one half and clear text on the other, while the others bridge is all clear with white texting, and most telling of all is that the part numbers on the cards themselves are completely different, one is 7120587000G (946A1A) and the other is 7121587000G (938B0F) also the first one (946A1A) has a A03 sticker on it (Assuming it means bios rev 03) I will most likely be exchanging or returning one of them since eyefinity does not work with crossfireX at this time and just pick another one up at a later time, so my question is which one is the newer of the two and or which one should I keep, if not just keep them both? I am concerned about stability and or compatibility if the two revisions are vastly different. Thanks for any assistance on this decision.

Overclock the shit outta both of them and choose the winner... sometimes the newer rev's arent always the best

Eyefinity works fine with crossfire on the 9.12 hotfix drivers

Thanks Guys! I returned one for now (The older one) Newer one did overclock better and ran more clean. Also I will just wait long enough for them to stabalize the crossfireX and Eyefinity modes because when I turned on eyefinity+Crossfire I actually got lower FPS in all Games! Sucked! the one 5870 for now still EATS everything up so far. Got the money jsut waiting a tad bit longer for a new update that fixes it all. Also does anyone know if the future Holds 6 Display Eyefinity with Two 5870 in crossfire mode?
