Lost Circuits has just posted its review of the ASUS EAH 6850 DirectCU today. You can see our evaluation here for comparison purposes.

The EAH 6850 DC is the more balanced card and there is really not that much of a performance delta to claim that one or the other game would be playable with the 6870 but not with the 6850. Add the more conventional port layout for easier configuration of Eyefinity and the EAH6850 DirectCU has all the makings of a winner.

Hm I would have liked to have seen things like OC, MLAA and additional resolution comparisons covered in that review.

Also - I hope they, and you too here at [H] - take a look at the "real" DC 6870 when it arrives. I think the odds for such a card are good, and with MSI having announced the 6870 HAWK... we'll see :)
