Asus dc2t 7970 overclock

hi i recently got 2 dc2t 7970s in crosfire and the max overclock it can possibly do is 1125 on the core in overdirve and gpu tweak is that normal? also gpu tweak seems to be behaving strangly when going from the first card to the 2nd card the 2nd cards vddci voltage and memory voltage can not be turned up it just jumps back to zero every time i click apply is this also normal? does it use the first cards voltage or something? aswell i cant even seem to overclock an extra 50mhz and play far cry 3 for more than 5 -10 mins i thought these cards were strong overclockers wtf? anyway any help or advice would be greatly apreciated.
 
Asus's GPU tweak seems to limit those cards to 1125, and it almost seems that voltage is already set to max out of the box. MSI's Afterburner lets me go higher....
 
nope tried afterburner and its all the same overclocking in overdrive has worked the best but it still crashes out at 1050mhz??!
