Does anyone know when the Commando is scheduled for US release? I've seen that it's been out in Europe for a few days now -- and I want one =)

Thanks.

Here in Denmark it looks to be a tad more expensive than the P5B Deluxe/WiFi ($25 more or so assuming an exchangerate around 6 DKKR = 1 $). Atleast one supplier is claiming to have them in stock on Feb. 2nd IIRC.

I guess Denmark is getting them a little bit slower than other parts in Europe. Ive seen numerous UK and German online retailers with them in stock.

To Manny: No one is forcing you to buy it. I'm simply asking whether any knows its North American release date - nothing else.

I'm interested in the abit ab9 quadgt which is the same generation of boards, so yeah I would like to know too.

I realize that :) The price is one of the reasons I am going with the Asus P5N-E SLI

I had a striker, 680i chipset. It ran but unstably. Wouldn't even work with my Corsair RAM that was on the qualified list. That alone made the board not worth it at all. Plus the chipset was incredibly hot. I'd go with a cool, P965 chipset over the 680i any day. Besides, as far as I can tell nvidia's ntune doesn't recognize ASUS' implementation of the 680i chipset yet and refused to work for me (for the few hours the machine did manage to run)

No it doesn't and I don't know why that would upset you. I've never seen any of the eSATA ports ever used for anything.... =\

I would point you towards abit's AB9 QuadGT but I think that you're already there ...
