I used ASUS BIOS UPDATE Program that came with with my motherboard.... people tell me that that was wrong way to update.... what should i do now????? should i do the recover my bios with the crashfree bios2??
"the crashfree bios2 auto recovery tool alowws you to restore bios from the motherboard support cd" it does it in dos at bootup.....

should i recover it or leave it???? i didnt know that useing asus program to update bios is very bad

my mobo is p4c800-e delx

I prefer not to use an application with a Windows GUI, I like to do it the old fashion way, but that’s just my personal preference it doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with the update program.

Did the action you took fail to install the latest BIOS? Is your computer not running stable? What seems to be the problem? If there is none then you can probably answer your own question.

Peace
James
